Our Beliefs

At Soaring Pine Private Academy, our homeschool is grounded in a biblical worldview. We believe education is a sacred responsibility entrusted to parents and shaped by truth, order, and purpose. Our beliefs guide both our instruction and our daily life at home.
We believe:
  • The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, and the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, in six literal days.
  • Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost and under God’s just condemnation.
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, without sin, and came to earth as God in human flesh.
  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent bodily return in power and glory.
  • Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin through His substitutionary death, the sufficiency of which was confirmed by His visible, bodily resurrection.
  • God, by His grace, offers salvation as a gift to sinners, received through personal faith alone, not by works, but through trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Our Educational Philosophy
Our approach to education is inspired by the principles of Charlotte Mason, emphasizing living books, time outdoors, thoughtful habits, and the formation of character within the atmosphere of a well-ordered home.
“Mothers work wonders once they are convinced that wonders are demanded of them.”
